What you will handle
- Prepare and change over CNC lathes for production runs
- Install and adjust tooling per print and process needs
- Perform first-piece verification and maintain dimensional control
- Make controlled adjustments to sustain cycle time, finish, and tool life
- Troubleshoot machining challenges and apply practical solutions
- Partner with operators, quality, and maintenance to keep equipment healthy
- Keep the work area safe and orderly to company standards
- Follow standard work and contribute to continuous improvement
What you know
- Hands-on setup experience on CNC lathes in a production environment
- Blueprint reading with basic GD&T understanding
- Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Detail-focused, steady approach to machining
