The Lead Cleaner/Painter will be responsible for coordinating daily operations within the cleaning and painting department, maintaining inventory control, ensuring appliances are cleaned and painted to company standards, training and supporting team members, and helping streamline processes to improve efficiency and production output.
This is a physically demanding position that requires heavy lifting, attention to detail, and the ability to lead by example. This is not a laid-back job. We expect our leaders to set the pace, maintain accountability, and drive results while fostering a positive and supportive work environment.

Lead and supervise the daily operations of the cleaning and painting department.
Coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks to ensure appliances are completed efficiently and on schedule.
Maintain inventory control of cleaning supplies, paint materials, and department equipment.
Train, coach, and develop team members while holding them accountable to company standards.
Inspect appliances to ensure quality standards are met before being moved to the sales floor or delivery area.
Perform appliance cleaning, preparation, painting, and detailing as needed.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of the washroom, painting area, warehouse, sales floor, and workstations.
Assist with loading and unloading appliances at the beginning and end of each day.
Support customer load-ups and provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers.
Monitor team performance and identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.
Communicate effectively with management regarding production goals, inventory needs, staffing concerns, and department performance.
Lead by example through professionalism, positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellence.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Previous experience in cleaning, painting, appliance refurbishment, warehouse operations, or a related field preferred.
Prior leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds or more).
Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Positive attitude and willingness to lead by example.
