Description for Lead Carpenter:
- Construct, fit, and install premium custom decks, patio covers, fencing, siding, and window systems.
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate the daily workflow of a dedicated carpentry assistant on-site.
- Serve as the professional face of the company, consulting with clients and owners confidently.
- Drive company fleet trucks safely to transport crew, tools, and raw materials to job locations.
- Read blueprints, take precise field measurements, and calculate accurate lumber material yields.
- Maintain high situational awareness and strictly enforce standard construction safety rules.
Details for Lead Carpenter:
- Pay Range: $28.00 – $36.00 / hour (DOE).
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | Day Shift hours (discussed in detail in person).
- Location: Cowlitz County project sites.
- Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire.
Requirements for Lead Carpenter:
- Minimum of 4+ years of verifiable experience in professional carpentry or a relevant structural trade field.
- Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in a leadership, foreman, or crew manager capacity.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record to operate company vehicles.
- Presentable, polished communication style with the ability to represent the company in front of clients.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, physical capability to lift heavy materials, and high reliability.
