Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, specifications, and instructions.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Perform rough framing for walls, ceilings, flooring, and roofs.
  • Complete finish carpentry tasks including crown molding installation, window/door casings, baseboards, fixtures, hardware, and cabinet installation.
  • Manage shoring erection, repair/replacement of patios, decks, doors, cabinets, appliances, and perform necessary demolition.
  • Handle additional tasks such as drywall, patching, and painting as needed.
  • Ensure the accuracy of completed work according to plans.
  • Oversee and supervise crews and subcontractors on-site.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of carpentry experience, with expertise in remodeling and both framing and finish carpentry.
  • Proficiency in all aspects of carpentry, from rough framing to finish.
  • Strong work ethic, pride in craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently without wasting materials.
  • Reliable transportation and tools of the trade.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • Ability to read building codes, blueprints, and drawings.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to pass a criminal background check are required.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary of $65,000 to $75,000 per year (negotiable based on experience).
