Job Title: Lead Business Systems Analyst
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 6-Month Contract

Position Summary

A leading organization is seeking an experienced Lead Business Systems Analyst to perform advanced business and systems analysis for complex enterprise applications. This role provides senior-level expertise in requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution validation while partnering with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure technology solutions align with organizational goals and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements gathering through interviews, workshops, documentation reviews, and stakeholder discussions
  • Develop and maintain business requirements documents, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process workflows
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment and approval of requirements, project scope, and solution designs
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to workflows, application functionality, and business processes
  • Lead and support testing activities, including test scenario creation, solution validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and optimize business-system interactions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise application initiatives
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to improve system efficiency and business operations

Required Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in business requirements development, systems analysis, and process mapping
  • Ability to analyze complex business processes, data structures, and system integrations
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience supporting enterprise applications
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and initiatives
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in business systems analysis, enterprise applications, or system implementations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as:
    • PMP
    • ITIL
    • CBAP
    • Scrum/Agile certifications
  • Experience with ERP systems, enterprise software platforms, and large-scale integration projects
