Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years management experience preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience or related field preferred.
Prior commercial facilities or property maintenance experience strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
Ability to bend, kneel, crawl, sit, stand, walk, and perform other physical activities required for job duties.
Environmental Conditions:
Exposure to outdoor weather conditions including heat and cold.
Exposure to moderate to high noise levels; hearing protection may be required.
Working at heights and around electrical systems.
Exposure to lubricants, cleaning solvents, batteries, paints, and related chemicals.

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a client of ours in the Charlotte area recruit for a Building Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity working on 1st shift.
Overview: The Building Maintenance Engineer works alongside the asset management and facility maintenance staff to ensure our buildings and grounds are functional, clean, and safe. The facilities manager oversees all aspects of building functions and guarantees the safety and functionality of all facilities. Duties include running routine safety inspections, corresponding with contractors, planning maintenance work, maintaining records, and supervising facilities staff. Our ideal candidate is well-versed in facilities management processes and exhibits high multitasking and organizational abilities.
This is a salaried position and is based in Charlotte, NC. This role requires travel to various properties located throughout Charlotte, NC.
