Lead Building EngineerABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Lead Building Engineer.Base PayBase pay range: $52.00/hr - $56.00/hr. Pay: $52/hr + DOE. The hourly rate may vary based on experience, skills, geographic location, and market data.Role OverviewThe Building Engineer supports designated leadership with the daily operations of all building systems, including hard‑surface maintenance, basic carpentry and metal work, HVAC operations, mechanical and electrical systems. Responsibilities include responding to customer requests, submitting and closing work orders, and performing other assigned duties.Essential FunctionsFollows safe practices and complies with company and regulatory standards.Qualified to operate or assist in operating all heating and ventilating equipment, engines, turbines, motors, combustion engines, pumps, air compressors, ice and refrigerating machines, air conditioning units, fans, and siphons on the assigned site.Must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks as assigned.Work with internal and external customers on technical issues, work scope recommendations, and failure investigations.Work in a variety of engineering departments based on current needs.ResponsibilitiesProvides engineering support for a wide range of systems, maintenance programs, engines, and operational engineering functions.Understands, analyzes, and seeks solutions to the design, operation, maintenance, performance, or repair of vehicles/equipment and their components.Approaches problem solving logically, defines a maintenance program or configuration, and ensures safe and legal operation.Reviews Service Bulletins (SBs) from manufacturers or component manufacturers.Develops solutions and implementation plans, project justification, cost/benefit analysis, and overall management of project implementation; coordinates warranty recovery on applicable SBs.Organizes and manages priorities for assigned responsibilities and meets all deliverables for projects, maintenance program changes, and technical specification revisions.Coordinates work with other operational groups to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, operational reliability, and efficiency.QualificationsEngineering skill sets applicable to a range of systems, maintenance programs, and engines.Meets all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including a ten‑year work history if available.Customer Service Experience.BenefitsABM offers a comprehensive benefits package.
