In addition to instruction, this position oversees day-to-day program operations, tracks participant progress, and maintains required records to meet program and grant outcomes. The Automotive Instructor collaborates closely with the Career and Technical Education team, Success Coach, Career Navigator, and employer partners to support participant success and job placement. This role reports to the Career and Technical Education Team Lead and upholds Goodwill’s mission to empower individuals to achieve their fullest potential.Compensation:$65,000
Responsibilities:- Create and facilitate ASE aligned curriculum with a focus on in demand technical and essential skills
- Maintain participant Goodwill files to meet and exceed program/grant goals
- Build and maintain relationships with employer partners to support job placement and referral pipelines
- Partner with Success Coach and Career Navigator to identify and address participant barriers to success
- Track attendance, class performance, grade assessments and provide timely feedback to participants
Qualifications:- Core 40 High School Diploma (Associates Degree related to industry preferred)
- Previous teaching, training, or mentoring experience preferred
- Hunter Alignment Certified (preferred)
- Current Professional level ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications or ability to obtain
- Workplace Specialist License or ability to obtain
