    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Assembler to join our clients team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and mentor a team of electronics assembly professionals while actively participating in the assembly and quality assurance of custom electronic parts and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electronics assembly and demonstrate leadership capabilities to enhance production efficiency and quality.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide leadership and first-line support to the Electronics Assembly team, ensuring alignment with production goals and company objectives.
    • Oversee and participate in the assembly, inspection, rework, and modification of electronic components and systems.
    • Develop work plans and schedules to optimize production throughput, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
    • Act as a liaison between the assembly team and other departments, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
    • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on process optimization and efficiency enhancements.
    • Participate in training programs to enhance personal and team skills and knowledge.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with proven leadership capabilities in electronic circuit manufacturing.
    • Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, and J-STD-001 is preferred.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Self-driven with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
    • Proficient in reading and interpreting work instructions and comfortable with repetitive tasks.
    • Basic computer skills required.
    • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident in compliance with US ITAR requirements.
    • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods at workbenches or workstations.
    • Capable of lifting and carrying objects up to 25 pounds.
    • Effective communication and interaction with team members.
