ADP is seeking a Lead Application Developer to drive end-to-end solution delivery across our application portfolio. This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership-guiding design, code quality, data integration, and reporting capabilities across a complex ecosystem that includes .NET, SQL Server, Oracle, Oracle APEX, Salesforce, and ADP data sources.
The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who can translate business needs into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
What Youll Do
• Own solution delivery across the full SDLC (requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and support)
• Design and build .NET applications (VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core) with clean architecture and testable patterns
• Develop robust data layers using SQL Server T-SQL queries, views, functions, stored procedures, and Oracle PL/SQL, and build apps in APEX where appropriate
• Create dashboards and reports using SSRS and/or other BI tools, establish data models, and govern data refresh and access
• Integrate systems via REST APIs, consume and orchestrate, including Salesforce and internal/external services
• Leverage ADP data (e.g., Databricks, Oracle DB2, SQL Server instances) and apply ADP RS SORs understanding for authoritative data sourcing and data lineage
• Author high-quality technical documentation, solution designs, data dictionaries, specs, deployment guides
• Partner with product owners and business SMEs to clarify requirements, size work, and prioritize backlogs
• Champion best practices in security, performance, reliability, and observability
