Lead Animal Diet Specialist
SALARY & FLSA: $28.72 - $32.81 per hour; FLSA non-exempt
$28.72 - $32.81. The starting rate for this role is $28.72. Every employee under the Joint Crafts Council wage scale, on first appointment, will receive the first step of the salary range for the position. Employees will advance to the second step at the start of the pay period after their one-year anniversary in the job classification and each milestone thereafter (3 years, 6 years, 11 years, and 17 years of service) with Step 6 being the maximum pay rate.

Experience in a food prep area at an accredited zoological institution, preferred.
This role is anticipated to work 4, 10-hour shifts with 3 consecutive days off. The schedule may shift due to operational needs.

Experience Required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS One (1) year of Lead experience preferred Experience in large-scale or institutional food preparation preferred Experience in a food prep area at an accredited zoological institution QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED or equivalent professional experience required Minimum of one-year related experience in a food warehouse environment, or equivalent experience. Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures. Ability to read and follow detailed diet orders and recipes accurately. Familiarity with food preparation equipment and portion control standards. Successful applicants must live and work in Washington State to perform this role. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a valid WA driver''s license with a safe driving history.
