Join the highly skilled hospital medicine HM team at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia, as our nocturnist lead advanced practice clinician. The lead advanced practice clinician (APC) will work with the facility medical director, regional medical director, and vice president of operations to ensure that APCs are utilized within the standards set by the state and medical staff guidelines and regulations.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduation from an advanced registered nurse practitioner (NP) training program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Certification by American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or American Nurse Credentialing Center within one year of completion of the degree or graduation from a physician assistant (PA) training program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation. Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPACurrent certification in ACLS and PALS as specified per medical staff requirement.
Experience: Preferred minimum of three years experience as an APC in an inpatient setting. Prefer previous leadership and management experience. Must be in the top quartile for metrics and documentation if from outside must meet these goals within 90 days be an example for other APCs in accomplishing metrics.
