Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Lead Accountant to join our vibrant sales team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the financial management and strategic planning of our organization. This position is integral to our financial operations, including inventory management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The Lead Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the entire accounting process, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and improving our financial efficiency.

Responsibilities

1. Overseeing the complete accounting process, including accurate and timely month end
2. Managing the inventory accounting system, ensuring accurate recording, valuation, and reporting of inventory.
3. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
4. Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
5. Participating in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership.
6. Ensuring compliance with all internal policies, relevant regulations, and international financial and accounting standards.
7. Developing and implementing financial systems and processes, as well as continuous improvement of existing systems.
8. Coordinating with external auditors and managing internal controls.
9. Mentoring, training, and developing team members for improved performance and career progression.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field, preferably in the sales industry.
3. Proven experience in managing a comprehensive inventory system.
4. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
5. Exceptional computer skills, including proficiency with accounting software, MS Excel, and related tools.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex financial data.
8. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
