Your mission: Turn challenging prints into life-changing parts
Do you light up when a complex 5-axis job hits the queue? At Acero Precision, you’ll lead Mazak manufacturing—from programming and setup to FAI and steady-state production—so critical medical components reach patients with uncompromising quality.
How you lead
- Decode complexity: Read blueprints packed with GD&T, notes, revisions, and surface finish specs; translate them into clean, efficient toolpaths in Mazatrol and Mastercam. Macro programming when the part demands it.
- Build the process: Set up and run Mazak Variaxis mills (pallet changers) and Integrex 100/200 (lower turrets). Execute First Article Inspection, then stabilize the run with rigorous in-process controls.
- Elevate the team: Mentor Class 1 machinists and machining assistants; coordinate multiple machines so work flows without bottlenecks.
- Engineer the details: Choose the right tooling, optimize feeds and paths, and troubleshoot issues across aluminum, copper alloys, stainless steel, titanium, and specialty plastics.
- Assure quality: Inspect to blueprint or proprietary software requirements using precision metrology, statistical methods, and machining math.
