Job Title: L&D RN
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma 74133
Duration: Direct Hire/Full time
Shift/Schedule: Night Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Incentives if any:
Up to $10,000 Sign-On / Relocation Bonus for eligible candidates
Candidate must live outside a 71-mile radius and commit to a 2-year agreement
Job Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
Monitor and evaluate patient functional status in accordance with hospital standards and unit procedures
Organize and complete patient care considering age, cultural, and psychosocial factors
Document all nursing care activities using proper medical terminology
Facilitate patient discharge through referrals and patient education
Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and staff
Participate in quality improvement and educational activities
Coordinate activities of others and provide input on performance evaluations (non-supervisory role)
Work directly with patients, internal/external customers, and leadership teams
Requirements:
Experience:
0 6 months related RN experience required
Strong preference for L&D experience
Candidates with 2+ years of hospital nursing experience in other acute care settings may be considered
Non-L&D candidates must demonstrate strong acute care experience and a clear interest in transitioning to Labor & Delivery
Education:
Completion of an approved nursing program (Diploma or Degree in Nursing)
Certifications/Licenses:
Valid Multi-State or Oklahoma RN License
Additional Skills:
Knowledge of disease state management, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage work efficiently
Detail-oriented in handling clinical and numerical data
Commitment to maternal care and long-term growth in L&D (especially for non-L&D candidates due to ~5-month orientation)
Preferences:
Prior Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience strongly preferred
