Job Title: L&D RN
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma 74133
Duration: Direct Hire/Full time
Shift/Schedule: Night Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM

Incentives if any:

  • Up to $10,000 Sign-On / Relocation Bonus for eligible candidates

  • Candidate must live outside a 71-mile radius and commit to a 2-year agreement

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process

  • Monitor and evaluate patient functional status in accordance with hospital standards and unit procedures

  • Organize and complete patient care considering age, cultural, and psychosocial factors

  • Document all nursing care activities using proper medical terminology

  • Facilitate patient discharge through referrals and patient education

  • Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and staff

  • Participate in quality improvement and educational activities

  • Coordinate activities of others and provide input on performance evaluations (non-supervisory role)

  • Work directly with patients, internal/external customers, and leadership teams

Requirements:

  • Experience:

    • 0 6 months related RN experience required

    • Strong preference for L&D experience

    • Candidates with 2+ years of hospital nursing experience in other acute care settings may be considered

    • Non-L&D candidates must demonstrate strong acute care experience and a clear interest in transitioning to Labor & Delivery

  • Education:

    • Completion of an approved nursing program (Diploma or Degree in Nursing)

  • Certifications/Licenses:

    • Valid Multi-State or Oklahoma RN License

  • Additional Skills:

    • Knowledge of disease state management, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways

    • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

    • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage work efficiently

    • Detail-oriented in handling clinical and numerical data

    • Commitment to maternal care and long-term growth in L&D (especially for non-L&D candidates due to ~5-month orientation)

Preferences:

  • Prior Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience strongly preferred

Unit Details:

  • 20 Labor & Delivery rooms

  • 11 OB triage rooms

  • 3 surgical suites

  • ~350 deliveries per month

  • 40% high-risk cases

  • Second highest delivery hospital in Oklahoma
