As a vital member of the interdisciplinary team, you will bring your professional and clinical knowledge to manage and deliver care to patients in a dynamic Labor and Delivery setting. Your role will include:
- Providing high-quality nursing care to laboring mothers and their newborns
- Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Floating to Post-Partum units as needed, up to 1-2 shifts a week
- Utilizing EPIC EMR system for documentation
Requirements:
- Need 2 years experience in setting
- Active Iowa RN license
- AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS and ACLS certifications
- Certification from the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) for fetal monitoring
- Certification from the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- High-risk and high-acuity experience in a high-volume delivery center (200-300 deliveries/month)
- Comfortable floating to Post-Partum
