As a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team, providing exceptional care to patients in a high-risk OB setting. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive care to antepartum, C-section, and vaginal delivery patients
- Managing high-risk OB cases and administering drips such as magnesium, insulin, and pitocin
- Floating across multiple campuses as needed
- Utilizing EPIC EMR for accurate documentation
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements for this role include:
- Active Iowa or compact/multistate RN license
- 1 year experience in Labor & Delivery setting
- High-risk OB experience in a level I trauma facility
- Completion of at least one travel assignment in the past 12 months
- Intermediate or Advanced EFM/AWHONN certificate
- EPIC EMR experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (AHA)
