Access Health Louisiana (AHL) is seeking a passionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our School-Based Health Center team. This is more than a counseling role. Its an opportunity to make a lasting impact on students, families, and communities that need it most.
Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide individual, group, and family therapy to students. • Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, school personnel, and referral sources to coordinate holistic care. • Maintain accurate and timely case documentation, updating records as needed. • Identify and report special cases such as child abuse, neglect, or truancy to appropriate authorities and provide follow-up counseling. • Actively contribute to a multidisciplinary team focused on improving student health outcomes. • Uphold AHLs mission of delivering care with dignity, respect, and cultural sensitivity.
Qualifications: • Masters Degree from an accredited school of social work • Current licensure in good standing in the state of Louisiana • Experience • Three to five years of post-masters experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults • Prior outpatient treatment experience
