Our nonprofit is dedicated to providing highquality, traumainformed services to veterans and individuals living with mental health disorders. We offer counseling, case management, community reintegration support, and evidencebased interventions that promote stability, resilience, and longterm wellness.

 We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey to serve as a Clinical Supervisor for up to 8 hours a week for our social work staff as they work toward advanced clinical licensure.  

 Position Summary

The Clinical Supervisor will provide structured, reflective, and clinically grounded supervision to social workers delivering services to veterans and individuals with complex mental health needs. This role ensures high standards of care, supports staff development, and maintains compliance with New Jersey LCSW licensure requirements.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision to social workers pursuing LCSW licensure
  • Review clinical documentation, assessments, and treatment plans
  • Support staff in delivering traumainformed, culturally responsive, and veterancentered services
  • Offer guidance on crisis intervention, risk assessment, and ethical decisionmaking
  • Maintain supervision records in accordance with NJ Board of Social Work Examiners requirements
  • Collaborate with program leadership to strengthen clinical quality and service delivery

Qualifications

  • Active New Jersey LCSW in good standing
  • Minimum 3 years postLCSW clinical experience
  • Demonstrated experience working with veterans, militaryconnected populations, or traumaaffected individuals
  • Strong background in mental health treatment, including PTSD, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and cooccurring conditions preferred
  • Experience with evidencebased practices (CBT, DBT, traumafocused modalities, etc.) preferred
  • Ability to provide a minimum of one hour of clinical supervision per week, delivered either in person (individually or in a group setting) or through individual clinical supervision via synchronous video conferencing.
