Immediate opening for an LCMS Development Consultant in Irvine, CA who possesses:
- Experience leading full R&D lifecycle for mainstream LC/MS platforms, including liquid chromatography, triple quadrupole mass spectrometry systems, integrated LC-MS systems, and related reagents.
- Strong expertise in overall LC-MS system architecture, core hardware principles, and reagent development logic, with familiarity with mainstream industry technology platforms and product roadmaps
- Capable of independently reviewing technical solutions, assessing project risks, and establishing validation standards, with extensive hands-on R&D project experience.

FULL DESCRIPTION:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Lead the development of LC-MS platforms, including liquid chromatography (LC), triple quadrupole mass spectrometry (Triple Quad MS), and integrated LC-MS systems, covering both instruments and reagents. Provide leadership and technical guidance in solving key technical challenges at the system and core module levels.
- Review and evaluate core technical implementation plans, proactively identify major R&D risks, and develop mitigation strategies in advance.
- Lead the development of performance specifications, testing protocols, and validation standards for LC-MS systems and core components.
- Provide professional technical support and guidance at both the system level and core module level for various triple quadrupole mass spectrometry platform development projects.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance for key technical challenges related to liquid chromatography, triple quadrupole mass spectrometry, integrated LC-MS systems, and core modules.
- Review technical implementation plans and proactively identify and mitigate major technical risks.
- Lead the establishment of performance standards and validation standards for LC-MS systems and core components.
- Provide technical guidance and support for the development of various triple quadrupole mass spectrometry-related platforms.
The selected candidate will also possess:
- Extensive experience working at top-tier international precision analytical instrument companies, with deep involvement throughout the full R&D lifecycle (or leadership of core module development) for mainstream commercial LC-MS platforms, including liquid chromatography, triple quadrupole mass spectrometry systems, integrated LC-MS systems, and related reagents.
- Strong expertise in overall LC-MS system architecture, core hardware principles, and reagent development logic, with familiarity with mainstream industry technology platforms and product roadmaps.
- Solid technical background in mass spectrometry and chromatography R&D, with proven ability to resolve key technical bottlenecks during project execution and commercialization.
- Capable of independently reviewing technical solutions, assessing project risks, and establishing validation standards, with extensive hands-on R&D project experience.
Salary Range: $120-300k/year
