      LCDC Outreach, Screening and Referral (OSAR) Case Manager
 
Recovery Resource Council is seeking to hire a full-time, LCDC, OSAR Case Manager for our Recovery Services department.    We are looking for a valued expert in area substance use and community resources, expected to deliver high quality, accurate results, while efficiently maintaining and enhancing existing organizational systems and standards.  Qualified candidates are diligent problems solvers, able to work independently while adhering to contract requirements.  A thoughtful, persevering, self-disciplined approach to achieving accurate, detailed work is essential.  
 
Duties and responsibilities:

Provides services (substance use screening, assessment, education, linkage and referral, and brief motivational counseling) to support client needs. Completes all documentation in CMBHS and an EHR, as required by grant and agency. Completes and submits required documentation, such as daily logs, client check lists, follow ups, satisfaction surveys, risk factors, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, by required due dates. Upholds the agency Guarantee at all times, and approaches all interactions with techniques that are consistent with trauma informed care. Conducts screenings for clients presenting for treatment for substance use issues and assists them with referrals and other actions steps toward treatment and recovery. This is not a complete job description.

Full licensure (LCDC) is preferred, but provisionally licensed CIs will be considered, if at least 2000 hours and exam have been completed.  A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.  Knowledge of Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) grant funding and Clinical Management for Behavioral Health Services (CMBHS) is preferred.
