Parshall Lawn Care Experts is seeking a driven and experienced Lawn Division Leader to lead our lawn care operations, develop high-performing technicians, and help grow one of the fastest-growing divisions within our company. The Lawn Division Leader is responsible for overseeing all lawn care operations within their assigned branch.
This role leads Lawn Care Technicians, ensures production efficiency, maintains safety and quality standards, and supports the growth of the division. You will work closely with the Branch Manager and other divisions to ensure operations are efficient, profitable, and aligned with company standards.
*Lead, train, and develop Lawn Care Technicians
*Provide coaching, accountability, and performance management
*Conduct Career Path Performance Reviews (CPPRs) and support career path development
*Build a strong, customer-focused team culture
*Support recruiting, onboarding, and technician development efforts
*Oversee daily lawn care operations for all lawn service routes and programs
*Ensure technicians operate efficiently and meet production expectations
*Work closely with scheduling staff to maintain productive routing and workflows
*Monitor service completion and ensure customers are serviced according to schedule
*Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and technician productivity
*Ensure all lawn care services meet Parshall's quality standards
*Support technicians with turfgrass diagnostics and treatment recommendations
*Conduct field inspections and ride-alongs to verify service quality when needed
*Address customer concerns and escalated service issues when necessary
*Assist sales teams in diagnosing lawn issues and recommending treatment programs
*Identify opportunities to expand services within existing customer accounts
*Collaborate with Tree Care and Pest Control divisions to provide comprehensive property care solutions
*Support the continued growth and profitability of the Lawn Care division
*Ensure compliance with Michigan pesticide regulations and industry standards
*Verify technicians maintain required licenses and certifications
*Lead safety meetings and reinforce company safety expectations
*Ensure proper handling, storage, and application of fertilizers and pesticides
*Oversee maintenance and organization of lawn care equipment and service vehicles
*Monitor chemical, fertilizer, and material inventory levels
*Coordinate supply ordering and inventory management
*Ensure equipment remains safe, operational, and professional in appearance
*Michigan Certified Pesticide Applicator License
*Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
*Strong leadership and team management experience
*Experience in professional lawn care, turf management, or related green industry field
*Strong communication and problem-solving ability
*Advanced knowledge of turfgrass health, fertilization programs, weeds, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies
*Experience with lawn care scheduling, routing, and operational software
*Experience managing inventory, equipment, and production metrics
