As our firm continues to grow, we're looking for motivated law students who are eager to learn, contribute, and gain real-world experience in a fast-paced plaintiff's personal injury practice.
This internship is designed for students who want to build practical legal skills while working alongside experienced attorneys who are invested in mentorship and professional development. What you'll do:
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on a variety of legal issues.
- Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
- Assist attorneys with case strategy, file preparation, and litigation support.
- Review medical records, case files, and supporting documentation.
- Observe client meetings, depositions, mediations, hearings, and court proceedings when available.
- Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits and trial notebooks.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff on active case files.
- Complete special projects that provide meaningful exposure to the practice of law.
Who we're looking for:
- Currently enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school (1L, 2L, or 3L students encouraged to apply).
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Professional communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.
- A genuine interest in litigation and advocating for injured individuals.
What you'll gain:
- Hands-on legal experience beyond traditional observation.
- Direct mentorship from experienced personal injury attorneys.
- Exposure to civil litigation from intake through resolution.
- Opportunities to attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Insight into the day-to-day practice of plaintiff's personal injury law.
- A collaborative, team-oriented environment that values curiosity, initiative, and professional growth
