The Student Organization Center (SOC) is a hub tailored to the diverse needs of student organizations, offering an environment that provides organization members with resources and support for organizational success. We are seeking an organized, responsible, and proactive student employee to assist in the daily operations of the Student Organization Center. The SOC Student Manager will assist the Project Assistant and Associate Director for Student Organizations with management and supervision of the SOC student employee team and play a key role in supporting the management of reimbursements, deposits, inventory, and student org requests.

Qualifications
- General knowledge of student organizations and student org policy
- Ability to work up to 12 hours per week
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Knowledge of student organization platforms (i.e. Wave Sync, EMS, Concur, Outlook, etc.)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the processing of student reimbursements, ensuring that all documentation and receipts are accurate and complete.
- Support the deposit process for student organizations through timely submission and providing guidance to students on reimbursement policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the SOC student employee team.
- Track and manage inventory and other resources.
- Process product and storage requests submitted by student organizations, ensuring that all necessary approvals are obtained.
- Assist in conducting team meetings and provide regular feedback to student staff members.
- Act as the first point of contact for students with questions about the Student Organization Center''s services.
- Provide exceptional customer service to student organizations and foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all student leaders and staff.
- Oversee student employee compliance with quality checks for tabling reservations and policy enforcement
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of training materials
