Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour

Schedule: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, weekly and every other weekend

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Laundry, housekeeping, manufacturing, or healthcare experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to follow safety procedures and workplace protocols
• Strong attendance and reliability required

Job Duties

• Sort and wash soiled hospital linens
• Fold, organize, and prepare clean laundry for distribution
• Load and unload industrial washers and dryers
• Handle large volumes of laundry safely and efficiently
• Inspect linens for cleanliness and quality
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards within the laundry department
• Follow established biohazard and bloodborne pathogen protocols
• Work closely with team members to maintain productivity and safety

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly throughout an 8-10 hour shift
• Handle loads of wet laundry weighing up to 200 pounds with team assistance and equipment as required
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and pushing/pulling
• Ability to work in a warm, fast-paced environment for the duration of the shift

What Your Day Looks Like

As a Laundry Room Attendant, you will clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas in each cabin. You will change linens, replace towels, restock items for guests, and handle daily tasks like vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces. You will also refill toiletries and cleaning supplies, report any repairs that are needed, follow all safety and cleaning procedures, and keep storage areas clean and organized.
