Weekend Laundry Attendant
Location: La Quinta by Wyndham - Altoona
Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our hotel team on weekends. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, folding, and organizing hotel linens and towels while maintaining a clean and efficient laundry area.
Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold hotel linens, towels, and other laundry items
- Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the laundry room
- Stock clean linens for housekeeping as needed
- Follow hotel safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist with other housekeeping-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Dependable and punctual
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is preferred but not required
