Laundry Assistant
Shift Available: 8a-3p
Brownfield Care Center is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laundry Assistant to join our team. As a Laundry Assistant, you will be responsible for laundering and cleaning linens and garments to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for our guests. This position is well-suited for individuals with experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in hotels.
Duties:- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens and garments according to established procedures- Inspect items for stains, tears, or damage and report any issues to the supervisor- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines- Follow proper handling and storage techniques for clean and soiled linens- Maintain cleanliness of laundry area and equipment- Assist with inventory management by keeping track of linen supplies- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens to guest rooms
OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
Experience:- Previous experience in laundry operations, preferably in a similar setting- Familiarity with dry cleaning procedures is a plus- Knowledge of different fabric types and their care requirements- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality control- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
