We are a family-owned manufacturing business seeking a Lathe Set Up Operator for 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), with a salary of $26-$34/hour based on experience.
The role involves setting up and operating CNC lathes to ensure efficient production and quality standards. Responsibilities include preparing machines, pulling tooling, loading programs, running first pieces, utilizing inspection tools, and creating engineering packets for repeatability.
Reporting to the department manager, there is potential for growth into a Cell Lead position. Ideal candidates have CNC lathe experience, familiarity with Mori Seiki or Doosan machines, inspection skills, and a system-driven mindset. Strong communication and a desire to learn are valued.
