Litigation Associate (Mid-Level to Senior)

Full-Time

A prominent global law firm is seeking a Mid-Level to Senior Litigation Associate to join its Salt Lake City office. This opportunity offers the chance to work on sophisticated, high-impact litigation matters alongside a collaborative team of attorneys across a national platform.

The Salt Lake City litigation team represents clients across a broad range of industries in complex disputes at both the state and national levels. Attorneys in this role will gain exposure to a diverse litigation practice spanning commercial, regulatory, and investigatory matters.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support complex litigation matters from inception through resolution
  • Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, dispositive motions, and other litigation-related filings
  • Assist with and/or conduct witness preparation and depositions
  • Participate in case strategy development, client communications, and negotiations with opposing counsel
  • Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice groups and offices on sophisticated litigation matters
  • Support business development initiatives and community engagement efforts

Qualifications
  • 3-6 years of litigation experience in a law firm or comparable environment
  • Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • Experience handling pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motion practice
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills
  • Demonstrated motivation, professionalism, and strong attention to detail
  • Active membership and good standing with the Utah State Bar
  • Strong academic credentials required
