Latchkey Coordinator (Part-Time)

Location: Norwood Elementary - West Jefferson, OH Organization: Madison-Champaign Educational Service Center (ESC)

Position Overview Madison-Champaign ESC is seeking a dependable and organized Latchkey Coordinator to lead the Norwood Elementary Latchkey Program. This position plays a key role in creating a safe, structured, and engaging environment for students before and/or after school while overseeing daily program operations.

This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling (morning and/or afternoon hours) ranging from 20-40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the latchkey program.
• Supervise and evaluate staff.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding of program staff.
• Manage program purchasing and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with daycare licensing rules and regulations.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and structured environment for students.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associates degree preferred.
• Valid ODE license/permit or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a childcare or daycare setting.
• Knowledge of daycare licensing rules preferred.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check including fingerprinting.

Additional Information

• Start Date: August 3, 2026
• Schedule: 20-40 hours per week; AM and/or PM shifts available.
• Note: Some summer hours are required for training.
• Salary: Commensurate with experience per approved salary schedule.
