Laser Operator
Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Laser Operator role in Vancouver, WA. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor laser cutting equipment to ensure accurate and efficient production.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to meet production specifications.
- Set up materials, tooling, and machine parameters for various laser cutting operations.
- Inspect finished parts to verify quality, dimensions, and compliance with company standards.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently.
- Monitor production output and adjust machine settings as needed to maintain quality and productivity.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Accurately document production data, material usage, and machine performance.
- Promptly report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience operating laser cutting equipment or CNC machinery preferred.
- Ability to read measuring tools, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Forklift certification or experience is a plus, but training may be provided.
