Laser Operator

The primary purpose of this position is to utilize various types of cutting equipment to manufacture wipes for the laundry or unlaundered finished goods.

• Meets regular and reliable work-site attendance requirements in order to perform the job and meet productivity standards.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and travelers for production orders.
• Ability to know and understand how to operate and trouble shoot laser equipment and counting scale.
• Understanding and following proper safety procedures when using the lasers and hoist equipment.
• Perform quality inspection/measurements for each shop order.
• Gathering and loading of the necessary raw materials needed to complete the shop order.
• Closing work orders and placing product in the correct area.
• Participates in periodic training programs regarding safety, product specifications; quality; and operation.
• Participates and works within ISO 9001-2015 quality standards guidelines in accordance with Contec’s quality goals.
• Others may be assigned.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); ; no prior experience required.
