We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Language Arts Teacher to join a supportive educational environment in Summerville, South Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who is committed to fostering literacy, critical thinking, and effective communication skills among middle school students.

Position Details:

  • Position: Language Arts Teacher
  • Location: Summerville, SC
  • Number of Openings: 1
  • Assignment Duration: July 22, 2026 June 1, 2027
  • Student Population: Middle School
  • Schedule: 40 Hours per Week
  • Licensure Requirement: Active South Carolina Department of Education (SC DOE) certification with a Language Arts endorsement
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging Language Arts instruction aligned with curriculum standards
  • Develop lesson plans that promote reading, writing, grammar, and critical thinking skills
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with fellow educators, parents, and school staff to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in required meetings and professional development activities
Qualifications:
  • Active South Carolina teaching certification with a Language Arts endorsement
  • Experience working with middle school students preferred
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
