JTG is looking for Language and Culture Instructors in the following languages: Afrikaans, Albanian, Arabic (Modern Standard and all Dialects (e.g. Egyptian, Levantine Libyan, Maghrebi, Saudi, Sudanese, Yemeni), Armenian, Azerbaijani (Azeri), Baluchi, Bengali, Bulgarian, Burmese, Cambodian, Chechen, Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese), Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Farsi (Persian)/Dari (Persian), Finnish, French, Georgian, German, Greek, Haitian-Creole, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Kazak, Korean, Kurdish, Kyrgyz, Lao, Latvian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Malay, Mongolian, Nepali, Norwegian, Pashto, Polish, Portuguese (European & Brazilian), Romanian, Russian, Serbian/Croatian, Sinhala, Slovak, Slovenian, Somali, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish, Tadjik, Tagalog, Thai, Ukrainian, Urdu, Uzbek, Vietnamese
We are looking for an experienced language educator to join our JTG Team in support of a government program. You will be responsible for preparing and implementing a full educational teaching plan according to the school's requirements. It will be fundamental to improve students' proficiencies in the language via the creative utilization of authentic resources. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the job with an ability to tailor instruction to student needs. You will know how to organize a class and make learning a student-centered and meaningful process. The goal is to help cultivate the students' interest in the language while preparing them to operate at a high level of fluency with a focus on listening and reading.
Location: Primarily in the Washington, DC metropolitan area (Virginia, DC, Maryland). Additional possible locations are Monterey, CA, and others across the United States, as well as remote work from home.
Duration: 6 to 12 weeks
