Enhancement Crew Leader

Bemus Landscape is looking to hire a full-time Enhancement Crew Leader. If you have at least 2 years of experience leading a landscape enhancement crew, a true passion for creating beautiful spaces, and are a motivated team player looking for a career, we invite you to come and grow with us!

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform all tasks related to landscape enhancement which include installation of hardscape, turf, shrubs, and trees, as well as completing basic irrigation and drainage tasks, and other duties as assigned
  • Must be able to take direction, lead, delegate, train, and support others in a positive and patient manner
  • Ensure proper procedures, processes, and quality of work are followed and achieved
  • Understand and meet production and project schedule deadlines without sacrificing the quality of work
  • Safe use of diverse landscape tools and equipment such as jackhammers, skid steers, compactors, trencher, blowers, hedge trimmers, mowers, weed trimmers, etc.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly job site including the office, yard, and company vehicles
  • Maintain and care for company equipment, tools, and vehicles
  • Follow job site and vehicle safety procedures
  • Attend training classes and seminars as requested by Branch Manager
Requirements
  • Experience in leading a landscape enhancement team is required for this position
  • Self-motivated, with a positive attitude and the ability to problem solve
  • Well-rounded background in landscape renovations and installations
  • Professional in appearance and actions
  • Ability to communicate with and provide excellent customer service to our clients
  • Detail-oriented and quality driven
  • Must be well organized with an ability to multi-task
  • Maintain a safe work environment
Education and Experience/ Licenses:
  • 2+ years of landscaping and hardscape experience required
  • Experience in the safe use of various types of landscape power equipment
  • Valid CA Driver's License required
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand and walk long distances throughout your working day
  • Must be able to work in all types of weather, including extremely hot and extremely cold temperatures
  • Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
