Position Overview:
Vision Landscaping is seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Project Foreman to lead landscape installation projects for residential and commercial properties throughout the area. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, managing projects, mentoring team members, and delivering high-quality results that make a visible impact.
As a Foreman, you'll be responsible for coordinating daily job site activities, leading a crew, operating equipment safely, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to our high standards.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and supervise landscape installation crews to ensure quality workmanship and productivity.
- Safely drive company vehicles and tow trailers to and from job sites.
- Review daily work orders and project requirements with supervisors.
- Ensure trucks are properly stocked with tools, materials, and equipment.
- Complete service tickets, job notes, and material tracking using company mobile applications.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management.
- Operate landscape equipment safely and maintain a safe work environment.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed on schedule.
- Maintain clean, organized vehicles, equipment, and work areas.
- Uphold company standards for professionalism, customer service, and quality.
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in landscape installation or related fieldwork.
- Previous experience leading or managing a crew.
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Working knowledge of irrigation systems, plant materials, and landscape lighting.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using mobile technology and apps for daily reporting.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality craftsmanship.
Preferred:
- Experience with masonry, pavers, retaining walls, or other hardscape installations.
- Equipment operation experience.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
