POSITION TITLE: LAND SURVEY PROJECT MANAGER II
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Engineering Service Company (ESC) is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Professional Land Surveyor Project Manager II position in our Aurora, Colorado office.
This position includes responsibilities in land surveying and project management in support of commercial, residential, and similar land development design and construction. Land Survey Project Managers are responsible for scheduling field crews and conducting and directing work on one or more projects concurrently. As needed, the Director may request assistance with preparing proposals, managing project schedules, and communicating effectively with clients.
Day-to-day technical surveying responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Prepare and coordinate ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Land Survey Plats, Subdivision Plats, Topographic Surveys, Design Surveys, and related deliverables.
• Research & review prior records and supporting evidence to verify data accuracy.
• Process and evaluate field data received from survey crews.
• Review and address title commitments.
• Prepare and coordinate legal descriptions and exhibits for easements, license agreements, and related instruments.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients & colleagues to support clear, effective communication.
• Plan, coordinate, and schedule field crews.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Current Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in the State of Colorado, or the ability to obtain reciprocity or sit for the Colorado PLS examination within one year of the hire date.
• Equivalent combination of four (4) or more years of progressive experience and/or education performing all aspects of land surveying.
• Working knowledge of applicable survey standards and methodologies.
• Familiarity with Trimble surveying equipment and software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, and Word), and AutoCAD (Civil 3D).
• Experience with Trimble Business Center, Drone Deploy, and/or Virtual Surveyor is preferred.
COMPENSATION
• This is an exempt, full-time position. The expected salary ranges from $3,200 to $5,600 per pay period, bi-weekly ($83,200 to $145,600 annually), depending on experience and qualifications.
