TheLandDevelopment Associate plays a key role in assisting with sitedevelopment coordination, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring quality and compliance throughout the process.This role provides valuable field experience and serves as the foundation for future growth within theLandDevelopment or Entitlement career paths.ResponsibilitiesSupport the LandDevelopmentTeamin coordinating all aspects of project management, including budgets, schedules, and reporting.Serve as a field representative, meeting with consultants, contractors, and utility providers to oversee site activities and maintain project timelines.Participate in inspections, walkthroughs, and turnovers to ensure quality standards and compliance are achieved.Coordinate community close-out efforts, includinginfrastructure turnover, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) compliance, coordination with utility providers, and landscape walks.Support HOA transitions by facilitating the completion and turnover of common areas to homeowners.QualificationsBachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, landdevelopment, or related fieldpreferred.Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.A proactive problem solver who enjoys working in the field and building relationships with consultants and trade partners.Familiarity with civil plans, permitting, and thelanddevelopment process is a plus.A team-oriented individual who embodies David Weekley Homes' core values of Integrity, Excellence, and Customer Delight.What We Offer:Come build your future with our winning team, recognized by Fortune Magazine as one of the "100 Best Companies to Work For" 20 times!
