RESPONSIBILITIES
The company is currently seeking a temporary Assistant for its Land Department to help support Land Project Managers in the Austin, TX area.



General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and design of residential lot layouts
  • Conduct site visits and gather field data for project development
  • Support project managers in coordinating with contractors,surveyors, and local authorities
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing project documentation, including plans, permits, and reports
  • Conduct market research and analyze data on local real estate trends and housing demand
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and proposals for potential clients and stakeholders
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings and maintaining project files
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions for new project ideas
  • Support the development and maintenance of project schedules and budgets
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with local regulations and zoning requirements




    Qualifications:

  • Have or are pursuing a college degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Real Estate or a related field
  • Strong interest in residential development and land use planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MircroSoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to multi-task and manage time effectively




    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AutoCAD or other design software
  • Familiarity with zoning regulations and building codes
  • Previous internship or work experience in real estate development or related fields
