Required Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), material safety data sheets (MSDSs), operating and maintenance instructions, government rules, and technical procedures.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Strong initiative and follow-through.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as a team contributor.
- Must demonstrate a high level of customer service.
- Good computer skills: Client Office and SAP preferred.
- Meet the physical requirements of the position, including the ability to transport hazardous waste within the facility and occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
- Prior work experience in a similar industry or environment is preferred.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working overnight shifts.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment such as LabCorp, Quest, or a high-volume hospital.
- Background in food service, fulfillment, warehouse, or production environments.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Check in couriers and manage sample intake.
- Unbag, barcode, and move samples around the lab.
- Load samples into analyzers and centrifuges.
- Handle samples with care, including blood, urine, fecals, and biopsies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
