We are a dedicated team focused on providing exceptional support for office and lab moves, relocations, event setup and breakdown, and general grounds maintenance. Our responsibilities include loading, delivering, and securely storing items, as well as assisting with campus-wide pick-ups and deliveries of various materials. We prioritize safety, efficiency, and professionalism in every task we undertake. Join our dynamic team and help maintain and enhance our campus facilities. By joining our team, you will receive an additional $500 in your first paycheck, minus taxes.

Objectives of this Role:
  • Assist with moving office furniture, filing cabinets, desks, and other office items throughout campus.
  • Monitor, engage, and complete requests on our Planon help-desk ticket system.
  • Within the general ticket request, keep accurate start, pause and completion times and document job related work comments.
  • Safely loading and unload office furniture, boxes, and lab equipment onto and off trucks.
  • Use moving blankets and straps to prevent damage and operate moving carts and appliance dolly and other equipment as needed ensuring that all items are properly secured.
  • Interacting with requestors professionally and using skilled moving techniques to ensure satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with the requestor a date/arrival time for moving equipment as listed in scope of work.
  • Locating and relocating office equipment and furniture, such as desks, chairs, and tables.
  • Also deliver and setup or arrange furniture for special events.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
  • Safely handle and transport client property, including furniture, lab equipment, and general supplies, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Drive company vehicles and use the maintenance management app to update and track job progress.
  • Relocate large equipment, such as refrigerators and lab devices, to shops for repairs.
  • Set up and take down event signage, maintaining cleanliness and safety of designated areas and equipment.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers and team members to ensure a seamless and positive moving experience.
Requirements:
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Shift work required.
  • 1 years: Experience in handling manual labor tasks, including moving and transporting materials.
  • 1 years: Experience driving company vehicles, such as trucks and vans, for equipment and supplies transport.
  • 1 years: Basic proficiency in using maintenance management apps or systems to track and update job progress.
  • 1 years: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure a positive client experience and maintain professional relationships with team members.
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required.
