Pay/Schedule: $20 - $22/hour | 12-hour shifts | Rotation: 7 days on / 3 days off / 7 nights on / 4 days off. Great OT opportunity. At $22/hr and 72 hrs/week, for example, earn weekly paychecks of $1,936 gross.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to perform quality assurance testing, fluid design support, and laboratory operations at the Von Ormy, TX facility. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting quality assurance tests on company products, preparing laboratory reports prior to wellsite service delivery, and providing technical support during additive selection and fluid design. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to HSE compliance in a rotating shift environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform quality assurance tests on company products and prepare laboratory reports prior to service delivery at the wellsite
Provide advanced technical support during additive selection and fluid design processes
Ensure laboratory equipment is clean and in working condition and that waste is regularly disposed of in accordance with HSE standards
Prepare technical presentations for internal and external customers and participate in Service Quality Meetings
Perform risk analysis before each task to identify and mitigate potential safety or quality concerns and participate in HSE and Quality initiatives
Required Qualifications
Previous laboratory experience preferred; cementing lab experience a plus
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to deliver accurate, on-time job deliverables in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to maintain required safety training and comply with all HSE policies and PPE requirements
Must be available for 12-hour rotating shifts including nights and weekends per rotation schedule
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
