The laboratory technician will manage the daily operation and needs of the Arthritis Center Lab. they will assist with a variety of routine and specialized experiments in support of research studies. This person will maintain the inventory of research supplies and reagents, monitoring mouse strains, service instruments and equipment and place orders as needed. This person will also provide administrative support to the research grout including coordinating laboratory meetings, assisting with set up and break down of audio and visual equipment, provide support for administrators when needed.



Required Skills

Candidate must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills as well as attention to details. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Ability to work independently and be self-motivated MS preferred or BS in related field with 1-3 years of experience. Certificates in human subject protection training (HIPA, CITI)
