Summary:

  • Duration: 6 Months, with potential for extension based on performance
  • Work Mode: Onsite
  • Location: Jurupa Valley, CA
  • Hours: M-F, 6am-2:30pm (flexible once started, but consistent week over week)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and non-routine analytical and physical testing on in-process materials, finished products, and other samples.
  • Ensure accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of test results.
  • Document, review, and communicate analytical results in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and complete laboratory records using LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).
  • Test and verify quality control standards to ensure validity and integrity of results.
  • Perform routine calibration of laboratory equipment and maintain associated documentation.
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation issues and conduct minor equipment maintenance as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in laboratory processes and personal development.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a laboratory environment (manufacturing or industrial setting preferred).
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software applications, including LIMS or similar systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with polymer or materials testing methods (MFI, moisture, ash, flake analysis).
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production-support laboratory.
