| Job Description: | The Department of Pathology, Immunology and Laboratory Medicine’s Molecular Pathology Core Lab is recruiting to fill a full-time Laboratory Technician I position. This position performs a variety of established laboratory procedures and techniques in support of research and diagnostic activities within the Department of Pathology. The incumbent will work under direct supervision and follow established protocols to prepare, process, stain, and maintain tissue specimens for downstream laboratory applications. Tissue Processing and Embedding
Histology Staining and Slide Preparation
Laboratory Operations and Record Maintenance

| Expected Salary: | $18.00 - $20.00 per hour |
| Required Qualifications: | Associate's degree in an appropriate area; or a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of related experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. |
| Preferred: | At least two years of histology lab working experience. |
