Job Description
The Laboratory Technician supports residential roofing product development and testing by operating shingle prototype equipment, conducting laboratory and pilot-line testing, assembling and modifying process equipment prototypes, and troubleshooting manufacturing and testing systems. Responsibilities include preparing raw materials, operating testing equipment, documenting results in LIMS, performing hazard assessments, maintaining laboratory equipment, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing and laboratory environment.
