As a Laboratory Service Specialist, you will greet patients, collect and verify demographic and insurance information, interpret physician requests, and ensure accurate data entry into the Laboratory Information System. You’ll coordinate with off-site centers, distribute lab reports, resolve discrepancies, and follow up on incomplete registrations.
Requirements include a high school diploma, computer literacy, a valid driver’s license, and preferably healthcare insurance knowledge. Skills include courteous communication, attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety policies.
