• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 6 months
• Pay Rate: $44.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day (4x10 Hours) 11:00 21:30 / Evening (4x10 Hours) 14:00 0:30
• On-Call: Required (as needed)
• Weekends: Required (rotating weekends only after fully trained)
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This position is for a Medical Laboratory Scientist (Generalist) to cover various shifts as needed due to a severe staffing shortage at a Short Term Acute Care / Level IV Trauma Center. Nightshift availability is requested, but only if able to work alone after training and competency. Most likely will work mid shifts, evenings, and rotating weekends. The generalist must also have Blood Bank experience. EPIC hardstop requirement applies.

• Position does not float between units
• 48-hour shifts: Not approved

Required Skills

• Generalist laboratory skills; ability to cover various disciplines
• Blood Bank experience required
• Ability to work independently after training and competency verification
• Proficiency in Epic (EPIC hardstop requirement)
