Job Description

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Laboratory Assistant to support a busy clinical laboratory environment. This role involves specimen collection, processing, and coordination of laboratory data systems to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic testing across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collection (phlebotomy) for inpatients and outpatients
• Process, prepare, and distribute laboratory specimens
• Ensure accurate ordering, cancellation, and charging of lab tests
• Operate laboratory data systems and equipment
• Maintain compliance with laboratory protocols and safety standards
• Support non-technical lab operations and workflow efficiency

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent laboratory experience required
• Active Phlebotomy Certification required
• Strong knowledge of specimen handling and lab procedures
• Ability to work night shifts in a high-volume environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Work Schedule

• 8-hour night shifts
• 5 shifts per week
• 13-week contract
• Variable schedule (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
