Job Description
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Laboratory Assistant to support a busy clinical laboratory environment. This role involves specimen collection, processing, and coordination of laboratory data systems to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic testing across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities
Perform specimen collection (phlebotomy) for inpatients and outpatients
Process, prepare, and distribute laboratory specimens
Ensure accurate ordering, cancellation, and charging of lab tests
Operate laboratory data systems and equipment
Maintain compliance with laboratory protocols and safety standards
Support non-technical lab operations and workflow efficiency
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of recent laboratory experience required
Active Phlebotomy Certification required
Strong knowledge of specimen handling and lab procedures
Ability to work night shifts in a high-volume environment
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Work Schedule
8-hour night shifts
5 shifts per week
13-week contract
Variable schedule (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
